Challenges

Provided designs had many flaws, we need to improve as per latest web application standard
Existing system was in JAVA, so needed to understand on our own how data in the database are inter-connected
Notifications to hundred of customers needs to be sent within seconds
Ability to provide Manage Cards function, that was not there in existing system

We first improved designs as per latest web standards
We deployed JAVA resources to get us understand the existing database structure
We implemented best practices of AWS to make sure delivery of instant notifications
We used Socket.io – best in business for realtime Chat-Message feature
We wrote scripts, that migrates data from old system to new system within couple of minutes

Results

We implemented web application that loads quickly on desktop as well mobile phones
Migration was successful and no user lost their any data
Notifications are instant and client was surprised to see it’s performance
